My new obsession is refurbishing old hats. I find them at thrift stores, ebay, etc. and clean them, use steam to reshape them, and add custom hatbands, etc. This one is a vintage Stetson, size 7. The hat band is an old belt that features a small flint and steel fire starting kit. The antique 19th century millefiori trade bead is framed by two batik bone beads from Africa and are strung on a hand twisted hemp cord. Embellished with a crow feather I found in the woods.
