French Ball Style Knife
$400.00
This type of handle was popular on trade knives distributed on the early American frontier. Full tang construction with the ball at the end makes for a very strong grip and a sturdy knife for the serious outdoorsman. The 5” blade is 3/16” at the thickest and smoothly tapers to a fine point. The fine edge allows it to serve well for light work as well as heavy duty chores. The maple burl handle measures 5” and is wrapped with deer rawhide. The sheath is also rawhide lined with vegetable tanned leather.
